Also there are 2 excellent adventure centres located within 30 minutes drive from Clifden offering daily and weekly courses for both adults and children in sailing, windsurfing, orienteering, kayaking, rock climbing, bungee jumping, water-skiing, archery and clay pigeon shooting, amongst other activities. Connemara is surrounded with white sandy beaches and is located on the Wild Atlantic Way.
